Stirring the Soul is our new cooking + DBT skills class series; think of it as a DBT-informed therapeutic cooking group! It blends the skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (think: mindfulness, emotion regulation, connection) with the magic of cooking and sharing a meal. These skills are designed to support mindfulness, emotional balance, and executive functioning, all while creating something delicious and nourishing together at the beautiful Freetown Farm in Columbia, MD.
Join Sydney McAnallen, LMSW to connect with the joy of cooking, learn practical wellness tools and strengthen everyday executive functioning skills, from planning and organization to flexibility and focus. It’s part mental health group, part warm kitchen table.
What to expect:
Sessions run for 1.5-2 hours
$150 per session
Evenings and weekend session times
Teen sessions and Adult sessions
Enjoy a coy meal together, rooted in Mindfulness
Practice DBT skills guided by a licensed therapist who also holds degrees in
